Tenderflame does not burn in an open ethanol tray, but with a steel wick inside a closed burner. That difference shapes how the flame looks, how long it burns and which parts belong to it. This guide explains the terms you meet on the product pages: wick, burner, fuel capacity and burn time.

Wick and burner
The wick sits inside a closed burner, and the flame stands calmly above it. Larger models have several wicks or several burners, and therefore several flames at once. Wick type and the number of burners appear on the product page wherever they are stated.
Fuel capacity across the range
Fuel capacity tells you how much Tenderfuel the burner holds. The candles sit at the low end, while the larger fireplaces hold the most. The table shows which capacities exist across the range.

Durée de combustion
Burn time is given as a range, for example 2-3 hours or 4-5 hours, for a full tank. If you want the flame to last a whole evening, that range is the figure to compare.

Products with the longest stated burn time
If you want the flame to last all evening without refilling, start here: models with a stated burn time of 8 hours or more.

Always follow the instructions supplied in the box. They are the manufacturer's own guidance on refuelling, extinguishing, clearance to other materials and cooling down, and they take precedence over anything else you read here.
